El 75% de las madres trabajadoras ha tenido problemas laborales por su maternidad, según revela un estudio sobre fecundidad y trayectoria laboral elaborado por el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) realizado a 10.000 mujeres de entre 15 y 75 años.
09-12-2009 - Esta encuesta, que será presentada mañana en Madrid por la investigadora del CSIC Margarita Delgado y el presidente de la entidad, Rafael Rodrigo, destaca además un cambio de prioridades entre familia y trabajo en las últimas décadas.
Los resultados apuntan que la discriminación en el trabajo ha aumentado y la maternidad limita "más las oportunidades de promoción a las mujeres de las generaciones más jóvenes".
Además, el estudio analiza las diferencias generacionales en el inicio de la convivencia en pareja y el número de hijos, en función de si las mujeres trabajan o no y del tipo de trabajo que desarrollan.
